Join tutor Hedy Ankers as she discusses how to make a slab-built vessels!
In this workshop students will learn to make slabs without slab or wooden rollers, or measurers, and about their handling, using heat guns, joining, adding appendages, trimming and clay use-by life, and pitfalls with this method. You will make at least one slab built vessel. The only experience you need for this workshop is to know how to wedge clay and what a 45 degree angle is!
(Vessel left overnight to be independently hand-detailed the next day. Decorating may be touched on, but not demonstrated).
