  • This year's selector is Karin Amdal.

Karin has risen quickly to make an impression on the ceramics stage with her body of distinctive, elegant and award winning work. Ideas and concepts underpin her work, often resulting in delightful and playful twists. She engages through a visual language of geometric forms and common everyday objects. Her Scandinavian sensibilities, connection to nature, and background in design are evident in her clean lines and natural finishes. Her motivation is to provoke smiles and an interaction beyond the physical aspect of the work.

“I’m delighted and privileged to be this year’s Ceramicus selector, do enter, it’s going to be fabulous”
