Rooms open without booking as of midday tomorrow!
As we move to Level 1 at midnight tonight, you no longer will be required to book the rooms. Don’t forget to sign in when you do turn up!
However please be mindful of the courses for the next 6 weeks in the evenings – where rooms are accessible but space is limited, and the workshop on 20 & 21 June when the rooms will be closed to all non-workshop participants. Check the calendar for events.
Help get the rooms ready tomorrow morning
Volunteers are needed in the morning to organise the rooms, put equipment back, etc. Please just turn up and lend a hand if you can!
The drying shelves & kiln room shelves are too full!
Everything on the drying shelves in the main studio that are dated from March or earlier will be removed to outside the building this Sunday 14 June and recycled shortly thereafter.
If you have work you want to come back for but are prevented in some way please let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we can make arrangements, but if we don’t hear from you, we will assume your piece is abandoned.
There are also heaps of fired pieces in the kiln room that need to be picked up.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation
Thanks everyone for your patience with the social distancing and rules that have been in effect. Many thanks to Peter Rumble for managing the booking system and ensuring the rooms were prepared for Level 2 use. It’s certainly great news that things are starting to get back to normal and Aotearoa has avoided the worst of Covid-19 as other countries are experiencing. However, this doesn’t mean we should stop being kind, or looking after ourselves and our community! If you do feel unwell, please stay home 🙂
