ATTN. MEMBERS
The rooms reopen on a limited basis from 9:00am Saturday 6 February.

Do not try to take down any tarpaulin or plastic sheets currently protecting some of the shelves etc.

Please note that from time to time there will be workers on site
· Roofers - completing the roof, gutters and rainwater pipes
· Carpenter - working on the dormer window etc
· Painter - following on behind the carpenter

The scaffold will be in place until at least Friday 12 February.

Potters to keep out of builders work areas and not interfere with the scaffold.

Take care not to bump yourself on the scaffold going up the steps

There will not be much (if any) parking available.

The scaffold will be removed one day in the week commencing 15 February. On that day the site will be closed to all members to allow the scaffolders free access. You should get an email the day before they take the scaffold down.

TE PAPA - Celebrating Makers: Clay
Thu 18 Feb – Sun 28 Feb

Visit the pop up clay studio in Toi Art to see four contemporary ceramic artists at their craft: Stevei Houkāmau, Kumiko Jacolin, Tracy Keith, and Richard Stratton. Watch them work and take part in workshops and events hosted by the artists.

Kumiko Jacolin will be talking about a Chawan (tea-bowl) in a concept of Kintsugi and a tea-ceremony demonstration on 19th at 11:00am on the 4th floor of Te Papa Tongarewa. You are all welcome!
